Lucerne Wine Festival

Saturday, March 18, 2028 – Monday, March 20, 2028
Lucerne Exhibition Center
The Lucerne Wine Festival, taking place on March 18, 2028, at the Lucerne Exhibition Center, is a well-curated event for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The festival features an extensive selection of wines from both regional Swiss vineyards and international producers, allowing visitors to sample a diverse array of varietals and vintages. Alongside the tastings, gourmet food pairings are thoughtfully presented to complement the wine selections, offering a balanced and enjoyable tasting experience. Attendees have the opportunity to deepen their understanding through workshops and masterclasses led by industry professionals, covering topics such as wine tasting techniques, food pairings, and the nuances of wine production. Additionally, the event provides direct access to winemakers, enabling visitors to ask questions and gain insights into the craft behind each bottle. The Lucerne Exhibition Center offers a spacious, easily navigable venue with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere suitable for both novices and connoisseurs. Whether you are looking to broaden your palate or find new favorites, this festival presents a practical setting for tasting and learning. The event is ideal for individuals, couples, or small groups interested in wine culture and culinary arts.

Tips for Attending

  • Purchase tickets in advance as the event can sell out, especially for workshops and masterclasses.
  • Arrive early to avoid crowds and have the best chance to speak with winemakers.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated between tastings.
  • Wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking and standing throughout the venue.
  • Plan your transport ahead of time since parking at the exhibition center may be limited.

Practical Information

Dress smart-casual with comfortable footwear suitable for walking and standing. The exhibition halls are heated but can get warm during busy periods. Booking tickets online in advance is recommended, especially for workshops and masterclasses, as these sessions have limited seating. Carry a form of ID for age verification, as tastings are restricted to adults. Bringing a small notebook or phone app to record tasting notes can enhance the learning experience.
