Lucerne Wine Festival

The best way to know more about a new culture is through its flavours! Join us in a two hour authentic Swiss experience in the heart of the Swiss alps. Lucerne is the most beautiful city in Switzerland and it is also a place where you get the best representation of the central Swiss wine and culinary delights. We will sample 7 different Lake Lucerne Region wines paired with regional cheese and charcuterie. We stop in two of the most traditional wine cellars in the city. While there is a short distance of walking involved, we will concentrate more in enjoying wine, cheese and other snacks and learn about the culture and history of the region!

This tour will take you to the places where swiss delicacies are made and in many cases take you on a interactive on self guided tours in cheese and chocolate factories as well as vineyards in some stunning locations. Tours will be built so that any preferences are taken into account considering geographical locations. If time allows other natural attractions will be visited so that guests can experience the natural beauty of Switzerland or a local city or town such as Bern, Zurich and Luzern. Select between Aeschbach, Lindt, Cailler and Maestrani chocolate factories and Emmental, Appenzell, Gruyere and Engelberg cheese. Vineyards include ones in the Lavaux and in Luzern, Liechtenstein and Stein am Rhine. In all cases there will either be a self guided tour or a demonstration so guests or a chance to see the products be produced on site and naturally there will be a chance to sample the delicious products and buy some. This all adds up to a delicious and interesting Tour !!

A combination of exercise and relaxation for a perfect day, a 3-4 hour, 40 km/24 mile ride using a power-assisted electric bikes that most people of normal physical fitness and stamina can do, combined with a scenic 2-hour lake cruise back to Lucerne. Ride along mostly off-road paths and trails on a ridge overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains, through beautiful countryside, green forest, and neatly cultivated farmland. Walk in William Tell’s footsteps at the Hohle Gasse and learn more about Switzerland’s great hero and his enduring significance today. As you wander on back-roads to Brunnen you can stop by at the the Swiss Knife Valley Center and Retail Store and vitsit their interesting pocket knife museum.
