Tour Details

All tickets are included in the price! If you want to accelerate your Swiss Alps trekking tours and you can’t decide whether you should visit Mount Rigi or Mount Pilatus—why not see them both? This Swiss adventure tour allows you to experience the two most famous mountains near Lucerne on the same day. We start with Lucerne’s home mountain called Pilatus, 7000 feet high and the most famous attraction in Lucerne.

We’ll take a standard train ride followed by a ride on the steepest cogwheel train in the world. On the summit you’ll take in a staggering overview of Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. From there we’ll continue by boat to a village called Vitznau. The boat ride is a fantastic way to relax and enjoy the alpine scenery.

From Vitznau, we take our second cogwheel train for a ride to the top of Mount Rigi—the queen of the mountains. You’ll enjoy your second summit on the same day before we continue by cable car and take a boat ride from Weggis back to Lucerne.
